At Mind-Body Link, we believe healing happens when we care for the whole person. The mind and body are deeply interconnected, and trauma can affect how we think, feel, relate, and experience ourselves long after an experience has ended.
Our trauma-informed approach recognizes that symptoms are often meaningful responses to experiences of stress, adversity, and survival. We look beyond the symptoms to understand the person beneath them, creating space to explore the connection between emotional experiences, physical sensations, relationships, behaviors, and personal meaning.
Through an integrative approach that may incorporate somatic, mindfulness-based, and other evidence-informed practices, we help clients cultivate greater safety, self-awareness, regulation, and connection.
We don't believe healing means being “at peace” all the time. We believe it means developing a deeper relationship with yourself—one rooted in compassion, safety, choice, and the ability to move through life feeling more grounded and whole.

Trauma does not live only in our memories or thoughts—it can also be carried in the body. Experiences of trauma, chronic stress, emotional abuse, and unhealthy relationships can affect how we think, feel, respond to stress, connect with others, and experience our bodies. Sometimes the body continues to respond to a threat long after the situation itself has ended.
Our approach recognizes that healing involves both the mind and the body. We provide trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered counseling designed to help you understand your experiences while developing a deeper awareness of how those experiences may be showing up emotionally, cognitively, behaviorally, relationally, and physically.

Trauma doesn't just affect the way we think—it can affect the way we feel, relate, respond, and experience our bodies. Our approach to therapy recognizes that the mind and body are deeply interconnected, and meaningful healing often involves creating space for both.
We provide trauma-informed, client-centered therapy that looks beyond symptoms to understand the experiences, patterns, and protective responses that may have developed over time. Through an integrative approach that incorporates somatic and evidence-informed practices, we help clients develop a deeper awareness of the connection between their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, behaviors, and relationships.
Our work is collaborative and grounded in safety, compassion, and respect for each person's unique story. Together, we create a therapeutic space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, understand what your mind and body may be communicating, and develop greater capacity for regulation, confidence, connection, and meaningful change.
You don't have to choose between understanding your experiences and feeling them. We believe both are part of healing.

We love our clients, so feel free to reach out at any time.
